Trail Days - Volunteer for the day for a Free Annual Membership!
Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring and Snowshoe Foundation is holding Trail Days on three consecutive Saturdays - October 30th, November 7th, and November 14th. Volunteers are needed for the day to help clear and prepare trails for this season in exchange for a free annual membership ($85 value). Volunteers are requested to wear outdoor work clothes, footwear and gloves, and to bring a lunch and water. Bow saws and clippers are needed too. Please call the Center at 356-9920 or email at ski@MWVSkiTouring.org to sign up or for more information.

Weekly Guided Snowshoe Walks
Join us any Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm for a guided snowshoe walk along the East Branch and Saco rivers. This is a great way to try this winter activity which is gaining in popularity each season. Snowshoes are available for rent at the Touring Center.

Winter Trails Day
This is a day for first-timers to get out and try a winter sport. If you have never tried cross country skiing or snowshoeing before, today is your day. Trail pass and rentals will be FREE to first time Nordic skiers and snowshoers after 12:30 pm. Snowshoers are invited to join our Weekly Guided Snowshoe Tour at no charge on a first come first serve basis.

Intervale-After-Dark Series
Join us for a guided tour along the gentle terrain of the Intervale Trail. Take a Full Moon Tour and cross country ski by the light of the full moon or with an amateur astronomer learning about the stars and constellations on a Stargazing Tour. These tours depart at 7:00 p.m. and last for about 1.5 hours depending on the weather. Reservations are requested and event passes are required. The Event Pass also includes a daily membership that may be used the day of or the day after the event.

High School Ski Team Races
Kennett High School (SAU 9) Nordic Ski Team will host a number of race events on the designated race course in Whitaker Woods. These are exciting events to watch. There will be a number of locations along the course for spectators and a number of groomed trails still open for skiing and snowshoeing during these events. Be sure to check our snowreport for times.

Annual Chocolate Festival
Our most popular event of the season! Cross country ski inn-to-inn along our 65 km of trails stopping along the way to indulge in your favorite chocolate fantasies. FREE with the purchase of a Chocolate Festival Pass which will be $20 if purchased in advance, or $25 when purchased the day of the event.
