9” of new snow this week. Packed powder frozen granular snow with 4-7” of base depth.

COMMENTS ...
Grooming in Whitaker Woods and Intervale network this morning. Good to excellent track and skate conditions.

Trails open in Whitaker Woods include Bancroft, Whitaker, Lucy, Wellinghurst, Vista, Gradual, Cranmore Connection. On the Intervale network; Powerline, 1785, Stonehurst, Intervale trail to 16A, and the Lower East Branch network. Hayfield Loop open.

Every Friday Night - MWV Nordic Club's Friday Night Under the Lights
Every Friday night through the end of February from 6 - 8:30 pm in Whitaker Woods, weather permitting. This  community  activity is free and open to all and made possible thanks to The  Mount Washington Valley X-C ski association, Town of Conway Park and  Rec. Dept. and the Mt. Washington Valley Nordic Club.  Whitaker House  will be open and there will be lights on the ball field. Bring snack to share and headlamp to go beyond the field. Saturday, February 4th: 1st Annual Winter Fun TRI - 9:00 am
Cross country ski, mountain bike, and snowshoe a course of about 5 km each. Three events, three categories. Challenge yourself, your friends, and have FUN!!! Join us for this fun triathlon. All proceeds to benefit the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation. .Event day registration open from 7:30 - 8:30 am. Race start at 9:00 am.

Saturday, February 4th
- Weekly Guided Snowshoe Walk - 1:00 pm
Depart from the Touring Center for a 1.5 - 2 hour tour through the Intervale. A great way to learn basic skills and to explore the riverside terrain. Call 603-356-9920 for reservations.


Thursday, February 23rd:
Flatbread Benefit Dinner
Support the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring Foundation while you enjoy pizza for dinner with your family and friends.


Sunday, February 26:
23rd Annual Chocolate Festival

Mark you calendars to attend our most popular annual FUNdraiser also known as the “Sweetest Day” on the trails held on the last Sunday in February. Cross country ski, snowshoe or drive between trailside lodging properties for some delicious chocolate treats including brownie sundaes, chocolate fondue and of course chocolate fountains to name just a few. Buy your tickets in advance and SAVE!
